Frequently Asked Questions regarding our Gift Certificates:
Q: Can they be purchased for any amount or is there a certain minimum or maximum?
A: Yes, our gift certificates can be purchased for any monetary amount you desire.
Q: Is there an expiration date?
A: Currently they will expire 5 years from date of issue.
Q: How do I purchase one?
A: You can purchase them either in person or by faxing us a credit card authorization form with a photocopy of the front and back of the cardholder’s I.D. and credit card.
Q: How long will it take to receive it?
A: If we mail your gift certificate to you we do so by sending it priority mail. The time is takes to arrive depends greatly on your location. The shipping charge is $7 insured.
Q: How do I get a credit card authorization form?
A: Give us a call @ 913-596-6000 and any one of our Ambassadors will be happy to fax or e-mail you one, or send us an e-mail request for the form at info@chateauavalonhotel.com.
Q: Can I only use the gift certificate on room and tax?
A: Nope, you can use your certificate on any of the services we offer, including romantic extras, upgrades and massages.
Q: I already have a gift certificate. How do I book a reservation with it?
A: Book your reservation online or by phone and mention that you will be bringing a gift certificate. Since we require at least a 50% deposit to reserve a room, your credit card will still be charged and then when you present the gift certificate at check-in the advanced deposit will be refunded back to your card. If you can bring your gift certificate in person we will hold it in lieu of an advanced deposit.
Q: Can I give the certificate to someone else to use?
A: Absolutely! The TO and FROM fields are for gift purposes only and are not legally binding.
Q: Can I use more than one monetary gift certificate on a reservation?
A: Yes.
Q: What happens if my certificate is more than the charges I incur during my stay?
A: The remaining balance will be issued on another gift certificate reflecting the new amount.
